With over 15 years of experience in teaching, assisting, and leading trainings across India (Mysore, Goa, Rishikesh, Dharamshala) and worldwide — including Mexico, Guatemala, Europe, Thailand, and BaliSharath has carefully designed this 50-hour module to be both practical and transformative.

The course is intentionally designed to challenge and support students of all levels, encouraging growth in both body and mind.

Cecilia, a certified first-level Ashtanga teacher and second-series practitioner, assists throughout the training, offering refined knowledge and compassionate guidance to support each student’s journey.

Our 50-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa & Creative Sequencing Course focuses on asana practice, blending tradition and innovation to strengthen technique, confidence, and understanding.

You will build a solid self-practice, refine alignment and adjustments, and explore sequencing principles rooted in Vinyasa flow.

Afternoon sessions include creative Vinyasa workshops, pranayama, chanting, and a unique Animal Movement and Handstand Workshop inspired by Capoeira, alongside philosophy, anatomy, methodology, Ayurveda, nutrition, and healing.

What You Can Expect

Experience 5 transformative days of Mysore-style Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, including hands-on adjustments and a Led Class on the final day.

Each morning begins with pranayama, meditation, and mantra chanting, followed by dynamic Ashtanga practice to deepen self-practice and awareness.

Late mornings focus on alignment, adjustments, and teaching methodology, while early afternoons alternate between Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy, and Yoga Nidra.

Afternoons are dedicated to creative Vinyasa workshops exploring themes such as hip opening, backbending, and inversions. From day one, you gain teaching experience and confidence.

How your days will unfold

06:00 – 06:30 | Shatkarma

Shatkarma is the yogic science of purification, designed to cleanse the body, mind, and energy channels.

Rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga, these practices prepare the practitioner for deeper breathwork and meditation while supporting balance, vitality, and clarity.

During this module, you will learn and practice essential techniques such as Jala Neti (nasal cleansing), Kapalabhati (frontal brain cleansing), and Trataka (concentration through gazing). Through consistent practice, Shatkarma cultivates lightness, focus, and a refined internal awareness.

06:30 – 08:30 | Mysore Ashtanga

The Mysore Ashtanga session offers a traditional and deeply personal approach to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

In this self-paced practice, students move through the Primary Series at their own rhythm while receiving individual guidance and hands-on adjustments from the teacher.

This practice cultivates discipline, independence, and embodied awareness, allowing each student to deepen their self-practice while honoring their body’s unique rhythm. Practicing in silence alongside others creates a shared energy of focus, devotion, and inner stillness.

08:30 – 09:00 | Pranayama

Prana means breath and Yama means control. Together, they form the foundation of energy regulation in yogic practice.

Each morning begins with pranayama to ground the nervous system, center the mind, and set intention for the day ahead.

You will learn and practice techniques including Yogic Breathing, Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, Ujjayi, Bhastrika, and Kapalabhati. These practices enhance focus, balance the nervous system, and deepen awareness of breath and energy flow.

10:30 – 12:30 | Adjustments & Alignment

This session is dedicated to understanding and refining both basic and advanced asanas through detailed analysis and practical application.

You will study alignment principles rooted in tradition while integrating modern body mechanics to ensure safety, precision, and sustainability in practice.

The module covers over 80 postures, including arm balances, backbends, and inversions, as well as modifications, variations, and intelligent use of props. With continuous guidance, you will build confidence in offering both hands-on and verbal adjustments.

12:30 – 14:30 | Nourishment from Nature : Lunch

Enjoy a deliciousplant-based lunch. Rooted in yogic principles and crafted by skilled chefs, each meal blends local, organic ingredients, tropical fruits, and superfoods to fuel your body and support your practice.

This is more than just lunch – it’s a flavorfulenergizing pause that connects you to the heart of Balinese wellness and yogic living.

14:30 – 16:00 | Anatomy & Philosophy

Early afternoon sessions alternate between Anatomy and Yoga Philosophy, creating a bridge between science, tradition, and lived experience.

In Anatomy, you will explore the nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems, learning how movement is created and how this knowledge applies directly to yoga asana and teaching.

In Philosophy, you will journey into the roots of yoga, exploring the Eight Limbs of Patanjali, energy systems, chakras, nadis, gunas, doshas, mudras, bandhas, mantras, and the meaning of Om. These sessions are conversational, reflective, and deeply integrative.

16:30 – 18:00 | Special Workshops

Afternoon workshops focus on creative Vinyasa sequencing and the art of intelligent movement.

You will explore themed practices such as hip opening, backbending, and inversions, learning how to design meaningful flows that balance strength, fluidity, and awareness.

These sessions also include elements of Animal Movement and Handstand exploration inspired by Capoeira, supporting coordination, creativity, and embodied confidence in teaching.

18:00 – 18:30 | Chanting & Kirtan

Chanting and Kirtan invite you to connect with the heart of yoga through sound, vibration, and devotion.

Through traditional Sanskrit mantras and group chanting, you will experience how sound influences energy, emotion, and inner presence.

These sessions cultivate connection, joy, and community, allowing the day to close in a space of reflection, openness, and shared resonance.
