How your days will unfold

06:00 – 06:30 | Shatkarma

Each morning begins with traditional yogic purification practices designed to cleanse body and mind. Techniques such as Jala Neti, Kapalabhati, and Trataka support respiratory health, energetic balance, and concentration. This ritual prepares the nervous system for deeper breathwork and physical intensity. Establishing clarity at dawn enhances mental focus and internal awareness, creating a grounded foundation for disciplined practice and conscious progression throughout the day.

06:30 – 08:30 | Mysore Ashtanga Practice

Students move independently through the Ashtanga Primary Series while receiving individualized guidance and hands-on adjustments. This self-paced structure cultivates discipline, responsibility, and deep body awareness. Practicing in silence within a shared space strengthens focus and devotion. Over the week, you refine transitions, synchronize breath with movement, and develop a sustainable self-practice rooted in consistency and structural intelligence.

08:30 – 09:00 | Pranayama

Following asana practice, we transition into structured breathwork to stabilize energy and calm the nervous system. Techniques including Nadi Shodhana, Ujjayi, Bhastrika, and Bhramari enhance lung capacity, sharpen concentration, and balance emotional states. Pranayama refines subtle awareness while integrating physical effort with mental steadiness. Through conscious breathing, you cultivate vitality and internal alignment, reinforcing the energetic dimension of yoga beyond posture.

09:00 – 10:30 | Nourish & Glow: Breakfast

Each morning begins with a nourishing, plant-based breakfast, prepared in collaboration with a local restaurant in Mytikas.

Rooted in yogic and holistic nutrition principles, meals feature fresh fruits, wholesome ingredients, and balanced flavors to support energy, digestion, and mental clarity throughout the day.

10:30 – 12:30 | Adjustments & Alignment Lab

Late mornings focus on detailed posture breakdown and teaching methodology. Students explore alignment principles rooted in tradition while integrating modern biomechanics for safety. Over 80 postures are analyzed, including inversions, arm balances, and backbends. Practical training in verbal cues and hands-on adjustments builds technical competence and professional confidence. This lab strengthens your ability to guide students with clarity, intelligence, and integrity.

12:30 – 14:30 | Nourishment from Nature : Lunch

Lunch offers a revitalizing vegetarian meal, blending the richness of the Greek diet with the simplicity of yogic cuisine.

Prepared with local, organic ingredients, these meals are designed to nourish without heaviness, allowing space for rest, integration, and sustained focus.

14:30 – 16:00 | Anatomy & Philosophy

Afternoon sessions alternate between applied anatomy and classical yoga philosophy. Anatomy modules explore muscular, skeletal, connective, and nervous systems with direct asana application. Philosophy discussions examine the Eight Limbs, subtle energy systems, ethics, and yogic lifestyle principles. Together, these studies integrate science and tradition, deepening contextual understanding and cultivating intelligent, responsible teaching rooted in awareness.

16:30 – 18:00 | Special Creative Workshops

Workshops explore intelligent sequencing and thematic class development. Students refine hip openers, backbends, inversions, and dynamic transitions while maintaining structural safety. Creativity is encouraged within traditional frameworks, allowing innovation without compromising lineage. Guided experimentation and feedback strengthen sequencing logic, fluid transitions, and expressive teaching presence. These sessions cultivate confidence, creativity, and technical precision.

18:00 – 18:30 | Chanting & Kirtan

Evenings close with mantra chanting and devotional sound practice. Sanskrit mantras and collective Kirtan cultivate unity, joy, and energetic harmony. Sound vibration influences emotional balance and heart-centered awareness. This ritual integrates discipline with surrender, grounding daily intensity into reflection and connection. Chanting reinforces yoga as both personal evolution and shared community experience.

19:00 | Elevate your Evening

Evenings close with a comforting, plant-based dinner, crafted to support recovery and relaxation.

Our chefs combine Greek culinary inspiration, seasonal produce, and nutrient-rich superfoods, creating a flavorful dining experience that nurtures body and spirit while celebrating Mytikas’ unique essence.
