This session blends anatomy, philosophy, and the theoretical foundations of Yin Yoga.
You will study the skeletal, muscular, and fascial systems, learning how long-held postures affect connective tissue, joints, and the nervous system. Concepts such as compression versus tension, individual anatomy, and functional range of motion are explored in depth.
Alongside anatomy, yogic philosophy and Chinese medicine principles are introduced, including meridians, chakras, koshas, and the Eight-Limbed Path, helping you understand Yin Yoga as both a physical and contemplative practice.
