How your days will unfold

07:00 – 08:00 | Pranayama

Each day begins with a gentle and grounding pranayama and meditation practice, designed to calm the nervous system and cultivate inner awareness.

You will explore breath techniques such as Nadi Shodhana, extended exhalation breathing, and subtle energy practices that support emotional balance and mental clarity. These sessions also include guided meditation, body scanning, and moments of silence to encourage deep listening.

Practicing in the peaceful atmosphere of Mytikas, surrounded by sea air and natural stillness, allows you to fully arrive in your body and mind, setting an intentional and mindful tone for the day ahead.

08:00 – 09:00 | Gentle Flow

This morning session offers a slow, mindful movement practice that gently awakens the body and prepares it for deeper Yin work later in the day.

Inspired by soft Vinyasa and functional movement principles, the class focuses on mobility, breath-led transitions, and ease rather than intensity. Movements are accessible and adaptable, inviting curiosity instead of performance.

The intention is to explore the balance between Yin and Yang, helping students understand how gentle movement supports joint health, circulation, and nervous system regulation while creating a smooth bridge into stillness-based practices.

09:00 – 10:00 | Yin Anatomy & Philosophy

This session blends anatomy, philosophy, and the theoretical foundations of Yin Yoga.

You will study the skeletal, muscular, and fascial systems, learning how long-held postures affect connective tissue, joints, and the nervous system. Concepts such as compression versus tension, individual anatomy, and functional range of motion are explored in depth.

Alongside anatomy, yogic philosophy and Chinese medicine principles are introduced, including meridians, chakras, koshas, and the Eight-Limbed Path, helping you understand Yin Yoga as both a physical and contemplative practice.

10:00 – 10:30 | Nourish & Glow: Breakfast

Each morning begins with a nourishing, plant-based breakfast, prepared in collaboration with a local restaurant in Mytikas.

Rooted in yogic and holistic nutrition principles, meals feature fresh fruits, wholesome ingredients, and balanced flavors to support energy, digestion, and mental clarity throughout the day.

10:30 – 12:00 | Practical Alignment & Adjustments

In this hands-on session, theory becomes embodied through practical exploration of alignment, variations, and safe adjustments.

You will break down key Yin postures, exploring multiple variations using props to accommodate different bodies and needs. Emphasis is placed on verbal cueing, consent-based assisting, and holding space with awareness rather than force.

This session supports both personal understanding and teaching confidence, helping you learn how to guide students safely, respectfully, and intelligently while honoring individual experience and nervous system sensitivity.

13:00 – 14:30 | Nourishment from Nature : Lunch

Lunch offers a revitalizing vegetarian meal, blending the richness of the Greek diet with the simplicity of yogic cuisine.

Prepared with local, organic ingredients, these meals are designed to nourish without heaviness, allowing space for rest, integration, and sustained focus.

14:30 – 16:30 | Yin Asanas & Sequencing

This extended afternoon session is the heart of the training, offering a deep dive into Yin Yoga postures, sequencing, and energetic themes.

You will explore archetypal Yin poses, their benefits, contraindications, and emotional qualities, learning how to build intelligent and purposeful sequences. Topics include meridian theory, seasonal sequencing, and balancing Yin and Yang energies.

Through practice, discussion, and reflection, you’ll learn how to design Yin classes that are safe, meaningful, and supportive of both physical release and emotional processing.

16:45 – 18:30 | Yin Yoga Practice

The day concludes with a long, immersive Yin Yoga practice, allowing space for deep release, stillness, and integration.

Postures are held for extended periods, supported by props, silence, and optional guidance. Elements of Yoga Nidra, restorative postures, and mindful awareness may be included to support nervous system regulation.

Practicing as the day softens into evening in Mytikas, this session encourages surrender, reflection, and rest — allowing the body and mind to fully absorb the teachings of the day.

19:00 | Dinner

Evenings close with a comforting, plant-based dinner, crafted to support recovery and relaxation.

Our chefs combine Greek culinary inspiration, seasonal produce, and nutrient-rich superfoods, creating a flavorful dining experience that nurtures body and spirit while celebrating Mytikas’ unique essence.
