Ubud as a Container for Depth, Ritual, and Presence

Training in Ubud supports the slower, deeper pace an advanced training requires.

Nature, ceremony, and Balinese daily rituals naturally invite presence, humility, and reflection.

Away from distractions, you can study, integrate, and reconnect to the essence of yoga, not only as a practice, but as a way of living and teaching.

This program is built for teachers who want more than inspiration. You develop advanced sequencing intelligence, deeper anatomical understanding, and clearer methodology.

The curriculum links philosophy, subtle body practices, and practical teaching tools, so you can lead classes that are safe, effective, and meaningful for real students with real bodies.

Nourishment, Community, and a Supportive Professional Environment

The 300H attracts committed practitioners and teachers, which creates a focused,

About This Course

The Mission

BALI 300H - 34 vertical

We are beyond excited to reconnect with you and welcome you to our 300hr Yoga Teacher Training in Bali!

Years in the making, carefully designed and well structured, we shaped our advanced course based on what our students need.

We listened to you and designed a course that will take you on a journey deep into the vast world of Yoga, provide deeper knowledge, new skills and build utmost confidence.

You will solidify your understanding and take your education, teaching skills and practice to the next level — all while being in the most beautiful, blissful place.

The home of our hearts. Our magical Bali.

The Course

BALI 300H - 34 vertical

The course is a 5-week intensive advanced 300hr training that will build on your pre-existing knowledge, so having already a 200hr certification will be required.

Following from our 200hr course, this training will naturally be practice focused as well. We will analyze all the poses of Ashtanga Primary Series, as well as more and new Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga postures. We will break down, analyze, learn how to perform, adjust and teach those poses and make creative and well-structured flows with them.

The anatomy lessons will hug the asana classes, complementing them by focusing on the understanding of movement patterns, their practical application to our practice and how each pose affects the joints, bones, and muscles.

We will take a deeper look, not only at the muscles & their fascia, but also at the nervous system. We will gain more insight into how the mind is connected to our body and how we can invest in that relationship and take the reigns.

The Focus

BALI 300H - 34 vertical

Our days will begin with Pranayama, meditation, and chanting, helping to balance us and set the stage for the day.

You’ll be introduced to new, advanced breathing techniques, explore various meditation methods, and practice mantra chanting.

In philosophy classes, we’ll dive into the Bhagavad Gita, engaging in in-depth, open-minded, and constructive discussions to reflect on ourselves and apply traditional yogic ethics & lifestyle to our modern lives.

In the afternoons, we’ll deepen our Yin practice, while exploring more yoga styles such as Tantra, restorative, pre-natal, and others. You’ll also take part in theme-based workshops, expanding your understanding and enriching your teaching journey.

What You Can Expect

BALI 300H - 34 vertical

Practice daily at our YogaUnion shala, nestled in the rice fields and overlooking the jungle. Stay in our partner guesthouses in Sok Waya, a magical neighborhood just 10 minutes from central Ubud.

Mornings start with pranayama, meditation, and chanting, followed by Vinyasa and Ashtanga.

Early afternoons focus on asana study, alignment, and
teaching methodology, alternating with philosophy and anatomy.

Afternoons explore Yin, Hatha, Nidra, pre-natal, and workshops.

We end the day reviewing and studying together as the sun sets.

Meals are served at our YogaUnion restaurant, where Chef Agung prepares healthy, organic dishes.

Enjoy one day off per week to rest, relax, or explore Bali.

Requirements

BALI 300H - 34 vertical

A regular practice, commitment, presence, and a genuine willingness to learn are the only real requirements. You do not need to be advanced — simply show up with sincerity, humility, and curiosity.

Before arriving in Bali, we recommend coming with an open mind, a basic level of physical readiness, and the ability to join daily yoga practice. Modifications are always available when needed.

For your comfort, arrive well-rested, stay hydrated, and bring any personal medications or travel essentials. Most importantly, come with a positive spirit and the willingness to grow throughout the journey.

The Completion

BALI 300H - 34 vertical

Teach full classes, complete your assessments, and graduate as a Yoga Alliance certified RYT 300 teacher.

You leave not only with a certificate but with confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose.

How your days will unfold

7:00 – 08:00 | Pranayama: Awakening Through the Breath

Pranayama, from Prana (breath, life force) and Yama (control), teaches that breath is energy flow. Each morning begins with a pranayama session, inviting you to ground, center, and set your intention and energy for the day ahead.

Through conscious breathing, you’ll cultivate awareness of the body, mind, and subtle energy within.

In this class, you will explore and practice

  • Yogic Breathing, Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breath),
  • Bhramari (humming bee breath),
  • Ujjayi (victorious breath),
  • Bhastrika (bellows breath), and
  • Kapalbhati (frontal brain cleansing).

These powerful techniques enhance vitality, focus, and emotional balance, guiding you toward inner stillness and harmony.

08:00 – 10:00 | Vinyasa: Mastering the Flow

Our Alignment Class bridges the traditional roots of Vinyasa and
Ashtanga with the insights gained through years of exploration and practice.
Each session focuses on analysing and refining postures, blending classical
principles with modern body mechanics.

You will study the alignment of 80+ asanas, from foundational poses to
arm balances, backbends, and inversions. Learn effective
modifications, variations, and the intelligent use of props
to support every body type.

Guided by experienced teachers, you’ll receive hands-on adjustments and
verbal feedback, developing confidence and precision.

This class refines your awareness, deepens understanding, and strengthens your
ability to teach and practice safely with integrity.

10:00 – 11:00 | Nourish & Glow: Breakfast

After your morning practice, enjoy a nourishing plant-based breakfast designed to refuel your body, balance your energy, and awaken your senses.

We offer fresh, organic meals crafted by health-focused chefs, using tropical fruits and locally sourced ingredients — all inspired by Yogic and Balinese traditions.

It’s more than a meal — it’s a moment to pause, connect, and savor. Each bite supports your practice and leaves you feeling light, vibrant, and deeply nourished.

11:00 – 13:00 | Alignment: Master the Foundations

This class is built around three core pillars: Alignment, Teaching Methodology, and Adjustments.

Alignment: This class provides the essential foundation for becoming a skilled, confident, and compassionate yoga teacher.

This is where your understanding of yoga truly deepens. In this hands-on class, we break down both basic and advanced postures to help you move with confidence, safety, and precision — whether for your own practice or as a future teacher.

We explore alignment from both traditional yogic roots and modern body mechanics, so you can learn how each pose works best for different bodies.

You’ll also discover how to offer verbal cues and hands-on adjustments that are clear, supportive, and empowering.

Your teachers are by your side every step of the way — guiding, observing, and offering personalized feedback to help you grow.

In this class, you’ll learn how to:

  • Understand and align over 80+ yoga poses, including arm balances, backbends, and inversions
  • Offer modifications and advanced variations for all levels
  • Practice safe, effective verbal and physical adjustments
  • Build the confidence to structure and guide your own Vinyasa classes

Teaching Methodology

Find Your Voice, Share Your Practice

At YogaUnionBali, we believe you start becoming a teacher the moment you step into the shala. Our teaching methodology is designed to be supportive, confidence-building, and step-by-step — helping you grow at your own pace.

You’ll begin by practicing one-on-one, then gradually teach in small groups, and eventually lead full classes.

Along the way, you’ll receive regular feedback from your teachers and peers to help you grow, refine your skills, and discover your authentic teaching voice.

In this class, you’ll learn and practice:

  • How to structure a YogaUnion-style Vinyasa class
  • Practice teaching and giving/receiving helpful feedback
  • How to observe and learn from others
  • Hands-on adjustments: how and when to apply them safely
  • Different teaching styles, communication tools, and what makes a great teacher
  • How to use your voice and body language with confidence
  • Planning and structuring a class for all levels
  • How to handle injuries, modifications, and ensure safety in your classes

This is where your journey as a yoga teacher truly begins — with guidance, practice, and the space to grow into your full potential.

Verbal & Physical Adjustments in Yoga

Verbal adjustments are spoken cues that guide students into better alignment, deeper breath, or more body awareness — without any physical touch. These include reminders like “draw your shoulders back” or “press into your heels.”

Physical adjustments are hands-on guidance, done with consent, to help students feel more stable, aligned, or supported in a pose. This can involve gently lengthening the spine, grounding the hips, or assisting a stretch.

Both types of adjustments help students:

  • Improve alignment
  • Stay safe
  • Deepen their practice

In your training, you’ll learn how to give clear, confident cues and safe, respectful hands-on support.

This is where your posture becomes powerful, your awareness becomes sharper, and your journey into teaching truly begins.

13:00 – 15:00 | Nourishment from Nature : Lunch

Enjoy a delicious, plantbased lunch. Rooted in yogic principles and crafted by skilled chefs, each meal blends local, organic ingredients, tropical fruits, and superfoods to fuel your body and support your practice.

This is more than just lunch — it’s a flavorful, energizing pause that connects you to the heart of Balinese wellness and yogic living.

15:00 – 16:30 | Philosophy

Together we’ll travel back to the roots of yoga in India, exploring how it evolved into the modern practice we know today. Through philosophy and storytelling, you’ll discover how these timeless teachings can be applied to your own life – both on and off the mat.

The lessons are conversational and interactive, encouraging you to reflect, share, and connect with the deeper meaning of yoga.

What you’ll explore:

  • History & meaning of yoga
  • The Eight-Limb Path of Patanjali
  • Energy systems: Prana, Vayus, Nadis, Chakras & Kundalini
  • Gunas & Doshas, with an intro to the yogic diet
  • Mudras, Bandhas & Mantras
  • The meaning of Om
  • Lifestyle & ethics as a practitioner and teacher

This is a journey of wisdom, reflection, and self-discovery – where ancient knowledge becomes a living practice.

15:00 – 16:30 | Anatomy

This is a journey of wisdom, reflection, and self-discovery – where ancient knowledge becomes a living practice.

You’ll take a deep dive into the human body, exploring the nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems and how they work together to create movement. This knowledge will empower you to bring awareness and precision into your practice, teaching, and daily life.

Our conversational, interactive approach makes even complex concepts fun, engaging, and intuitive – so you can truly embody what you learn.

What you’ll explore:

  • Introduction to Anatomy & the body’s systems
  • In-depth study of the skeletal system, connective tissue, muscles & nervous system
  • Movement analysis of joints & muscles with direct application to yoga practice & asanas

This is where science meets practice, giving you the tools to move, teach, and live with greater awareness and alignment.

16:45 – 18:30 | Workshop – Afternoon Classes

The afternoon classes open the door to different styles of yoga beyond the core course, offering a balance of restorative practices and special themed workshops.

RESTORATIVE PRACTICE

To balance your dynamic Yang mornings, afternoons shift into stillness with Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Restorative practices giving body and mind the space to recharge and reset.

WORKSHOPS

Focused, playful sessions designed to expand your practice, including handstands, hip openers, and more.

These afternoons bring both depth and variety, nurturing your growth with a blend of challenge and restoration.
